We must live with the realization that the lives we once knew…will never return again.

Covid-19…Climate Change…The Rise of Racism…The Truth of Racism…has opened the door to much needed change…The ‘New Normal’ Is No Normal…Nothing will ever be the same again.

There are now only two choices to living…to be vigilant…or not to be at all. The avenues of exiting have been provided and are presently being exercised by chance…

The pettiness…lies…corruption and people manipulating politics will come to a devastating end for those who continue to practice such atrocious game play in the dissolution of Democracy.

There will be more casualties of countries like Haiti, Afghanistan, Syria, Israel and Palestine…There will be more disruptions and political chaos between Republicans and Democrats at the cost of the American people, as well as the further division within the country which will result in casualties beyond comprehension.

The ‘New Normal’ Is No Normal…

The creation of confusion revolving around Covid-19 vaccines has created a “No Normal” resolve on what should and should not be assumed…but one should assume that those who have not been vaccinated, create the biggest risk to themselves and to others in furthering the spread of the new Delta variant…yet those who have been vaccinated may or may not be affected…

Contradictions…contradictions…contradictions!

This is the answer to the ‘New Normal.’

What is normal for you? Do you know? Your “normal” is “no normal.” We have learned…or will soon learn that we will live each day as it comes and there is “No Normal.”

Whatever presents itself in any given day will be met with whatever is necessary to meet it head on with victory as the outcome…You choose…you decide…

Do not let anyone exercise your rights in any capacity…Let your heart and your conscience be your guide. And be responsible for “your normal” whatever that may be…Just make sure that it applies to you without infringing upon the “rights and normal” of others.

Your revolution of “normal” has begun…

Choose wisely…

Your normal depends upon it….

Celebrate that after 2020…and the months leading up to this day, we made it…and many didn’t due to the pandemic…indiscriminate assaults and the taking of lives…The Florida condo collapse…tornadoes…hurricanes…floods…extreme heat…droughts…joblessness…homelessness…politics….

For those events that we can do nothing about…let us bond together and give assistance and kindness and comfort….

For the events that we can do something about…Remember that our Freedom…Life…Liberties…and our Pursuit of Happiness is contingent upon our Independence…

Independence comes about because of you and your contributions to America…and the continuance of the freedoms promised to every American…

Celebrate you…Celebrate Independence…Celebrate Freedom…and don’t abandon the struggle and the war we are waging here in America…even today…to celebrate another July 4th…come 2022…

Freedom and Independence aren’t just words to be thrown around…

So be vigilant in your quest to retain them…

Brought many realizations of what still plagues humanity and how we must continually work on bringing about change in the direction of History and our relationships to other human beings….

The Tulsa Massacre happened one hundred years ago, in 1921…and brought to light numerous other massacres of Black communities in the past…Chicago 1919…Springfield 1908…East St. Louis 1917…Vicksburg 1874…Slocum 1910…Colfax 1873…Opelousas 1868…Thibadaux 1887…Elaine 1919…Clinton 1875…Rosewood 1923…St. Bernard Parish 1868…New Orleans 1866…Memphis 1866…Atlanta 1906…Detroit 1943…New York 1863…Washington DC 1919…Philadelphia 1985…Wilmington 1898…Charleston 2015…Eufaula 1874…Camila 1868…Ocoee 1920…and the Fort Pillow Massacre on April 12, 1864 by Confederate troops.

Being a “silent witness” is as damaging as committing the crimes… Ask yourself this question…If you were the recipient of an atrocity being committed and someone stood by and watched…or knew the perpetrator(s) or witnessed the acts of the perpetrator(s), would it be alright with you if they did nothing with this knowledge that could hold those accountable for their horrific actions?

The Past cannot and will not stay buried when injustices are committed and lives are wiped out and the consequences of taking those lives affects the lives of their generational families for the rest of their lives…robbing many of generational wealth and land…in businesses destroyed and land taken in these massacres…“Reparations” can never measure up to what was lost…however, Restitution must be in order in any and every form in accountability and righting the wrongs that continue into these moments in time… These are stains on the soul of this nation that can never be erased…sins that can only be forgiven by heartfelt and demonstrated Acts of Contrition… Telling Americans of African heritage to “get over it” is like asking Americans of Jewish heritage to “get over the Holocaust.” How can you ask someone to “get over” massacres of their family and loved ones? How can one ask someone to erase these horrors and traumas from their minds and person? How can anyone live in denial of atrocities that treat specific human beings as if they were less than the dirt beneath their feet? Let us not forget that “soil” is dirt…and it yields the food that nourishes and keeps all life on this planet…alive.

June In…brought in a realization that Juneteenth was celebrated by Ikea by presenting a celebratory meal of Fried Chicken, Watermelon, Mac N Cheese, Potato Salad, Collard Greens and Candied Yams…all stereotypical, perceived foods eaten by African American people…Entertaining ignorance instead of researching authenticity and the history of the occasion and the vast cuisine which extends itself across the spectrum of African heritage existing, but not limited to, the Caribbean, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and other countries around the globe… These mindsets continue to limit and marginalize the true expansion and influence of African ancestry and its contributions to American life.

June In…brought in the very stark realization that as a people, we are still in chaos over old issues that will continue to plague our society and the world…if we continue to walk in ignorance…and not in truth. Our disappointments and sins will continue to grow and follow us from century to century if we do not confront them and face them with a heart bent on rectification and alleviation of that which creates the injustices and inequalities still present and functioning throughout our nation…as a perceived “life blood” of preservation…when it is the very poison that may well consume and destroy the dream of America…

June Out…brings another month to build and rebuild upon the dream of America…To consciously put in the work….become a viable part of the Reconstruction of a nation that holds more promise in demonstrated change than hope…more love than hate…and more union than disunion and division.

June Out… brings July and Independence Day…

Our Independence should begin with the removal of the shackles we allow to bind our spirits and our abilities to herald in changes that will grant freedom from self-imposed prisons of self creation when we choose not to challenge archaic mindsets and constituents which work to keep the chains tightening around our necks…instead of accepting the changes which will serve and uplift us into becoming “The Land of the Free.”

Freedom isn’t elusive…

Independence…is Freedom.

Tomorrow Is Today…and Everyday Hereafter…

Thoughts on Juneteenth were going to be held until the following day…and thoughts and reflections continued on to the next day…and the next, which is today…however, the thoughts and reflections continue…

Juneteenth…Emancipation of enslaved African Americans…

The biggest problem with holidays are they are “celebrated” for one day and then they disappear into oblivion…until the next year.  The events that constitute the creation of holidays in the first place should never be forgotten…ever! Whatever wrongs were committed should always be in the forefront of every celebrant’s mind…thoughts…words…and deeds as not to repeat the travesties and horrific events of history ever again…We cannot become better as human beings or humanity if we do not constantly work on eliminating the worst of ourselves in how we relate to one another and the life around us.

It has been only 156 years since the Emancipation Proclamation of 1865…The Emancipation Proclamation and the Thirteenth Amendment cannot erase over 400 years of Slavery here in the United States, or the inhumanity visited upon those enslaved or their ancestors who continue to be treated with great atrocities to this day, inclusive of murders, lynching, inequality of economic prosperity, the destroying of communities and generational economic wealth, in dollars and land, also in theft and outright taking it away without accountability or protection from the government…Massacre after massacre…after massacre continually committed against Americans of African ancestry…always excusing such horrific behaviors away with “White Privilege” which is nothing more than evil with a free pass encompassed by fear possessed inferiority, and it extends itself to anyone perceived as a threat that does not look like the “norm of acceptability.”

It is not “color” that dictates the viability and superiority of any person… Superiority is a tool that is used to deflect inferiority…Those who possess souls do not wish to destroy life…or oppress the lives of others…to do so is to destroy and oppress the life which is their own…

Accountability to right horrific wrongs is generational…Racism is ended or continued with each successive generation…What is committed by one generation can be ended and made right by the next…instead of passing it off as not an offense created by the incoming generation…it continues to be an offense on each new generation…until someone stands up to realize that to keep putting the worst foot forward in denial continues to poison the well and stagnate any progress of humanity’s progression beyond the fate of the Dinosaurs….

Tomorrow is today…and everyday hereafter…

Bringing the complexities of Racism into the light of day will continue everyday hereafter because it is long past time to right the wrongs of this country’s “Original Sin.”

Thoughts will continue on Juneteenth and the aftermath of what continues to emerge as consequences to holding onto and practicing Racism here in America.

The politics of this country are not only entrenched in retaining economic power…they are fueled by Racism and exclusivity…and it is choking the life out of America…

Tomorrow is Today…and everyday hereafter deprives us of longevity…because of the refusal to let Freedom ring….  

Finding Peace In A Nation Of Chaos…

The simplicity of living was taken away from us with the implementation of rules and laws that are formulated and designed to take away our peace and limit our freedoms… while the majority just want to live a life of quality, peace and happiness…others wish to create chaos and keep our nation in a state of flux…along with the lives of the average citizen.

If inalienable rights were really honored, freedom would be undeniable and enforced for all people living in the United States…regardless of Race, Color, or Creed…the inalienable rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness would be the golden law of the land, and preserved and protected at all costs…for everyone.

The America we live in today would not exist as a divided land of conscience…if inalienable rights…peace…freedom…equality…liberty…and happiness, reigned in the “Land of the Free.”

Every citizen of this country…regardless of Race, wears shackles…and are slaves to something…someone…real or imaginary…and they keep the cycle of discontent moving…moment to moment…minute by minute…hour by hour…day by day…week by week…year by year…decade to decade…century to century…and beyond…until it builds up such complexity of contagion and spiral webs so tangled…it holds generations captive…with only a few managing to escape the chaos and turmoil to build real and true lives of peace…if ever.

What is real…and what is true? If living in America has taught us anything…it has shown us that history is not reliable, lacking much in what is real and what is true…That anyone can be bought…sold…bartered…traded…and robbed of life…liberty…and the pursuit of happiness…Some victimized themselves by selling their souls…some quite innocently victims…because of the color of their skin…Just ask those who were brought over in shackles because of their looks and color…and ask those who were indigenous and free…loved and honored the land…before they were deemed “savage”…exterminated…with the remaining put on Reservations….

Finding peace in chaos means identifying the chaos and putting an end to it.

Finding peace means when the chaos is identified…the courage to end it must be present…willing and able…to put an end to it…for the sake of peace.

To identify the chaos…one must first seek out the chaos in themselves.  Find the courage to end it once it is identified…and start incorporating peace within…to bring it without…

Once that is done…like-minded individuals begin to emerge on the scene to create peace within communities and chaotic organizations and institutions that create laws and rules designed to keep people suppressed…joyless…prisoners of social, economic and governing disparities, in order to control and regulate the quality of life, while dangling half-eaten carrots under the noses of citizens…who dream of a life of simple pleasures with the means to enjoy life…liberty…and the pursuit of happiness…which is their inalienable right…and their peace.

These laws that are being put into place to suppress specific voters are just the beginning of the end…the end of a young country still battling to find peace.

Being led like sheep to the slaughter only intensifies the chaos and secures a countdown to the end of Democracy… Don’t be fooled…the right hand is keeping the left hand busy by blinding it to the truth of what is really going on. The “right hand” is the politicians running the country as they see fit…The ”left hand” is “We the People.”

We are not a country of “Democrats and Republicans.”  We are a country of people who want our lives to be something more than pieces on a chessboard maneuvered about in somebody else’s game…

Peace will be a struggle…but a battle worth fighting and winning.

Finding peace in a Nation of chaos is up to each and every one of us…

We can do it…

Our Nation awaits….

They Are Here….They…Have Always Been Here…

They are here…They…Have Always Been Here…

There is no need to worry about terrorists infiltrating our country…They are already here.

A terrorist is a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in pursuit of political aims…

There is a group operating in full view… in Washington, D.C….

They have factions operating in every State in the Union…

They are crushing voting rights with lies and deceptions to promote and boost elections in their favor…

They are pushing lies and propaganda to keep their supporters in a stupor of which there seems to be no return…

They are taking the country backwards in Civil and Human Rights…

Promoting Racism…Divisiveness…Insurrection…Sedition…Lies…Lies…and more Lies…

You know them better as the GOP…Republicans…They are the Terrorists…They are traitors to their constituents…leading them to slaughter…then pulling them back from the brink when they need their voting power…and they toss them under the bus after securing what they need, and say it’s coming from the other side of the aisle….when they refuse to participate in bipartisan politics….Look closely…They are the Terrorists…They are the GOP.

They have fully demonstrated that they come first…Not Country…Not their supporters…just themselves…everything else is just “window dressing” to veil their wrestle for complete control of our nation…and run it into the ground…

“America First” is just another Republican ploy…pushed by Trump and the GOP to dismantle democracy…and invoke their separatist agenda…

“America First,” is America being united and moving forward together as one unit…

“America First” isn’t holding the American people hostage by not supporting legislation that will better the quality of life for all Americans…

“America First” is respecting the Constitution and upholding the ideals of America…not destroying them systematically…and holding “Freedom” in chains with rhetoric and lies arresting whatever progress has been made to move our country into the present while building a future for generations to come…

“America First” is ridding our country of those who would seek to destroy it…such as terrorists…acting under the guise of the GOP…the Republican Party….

Stop sleeping with the enemy…

It’s time to wake up…

Clean up…

And take out the garbage…

Remove the terrorists and bring back the Party of Lincoln…

Or say goodbye…

To America.

America isn’t a bargaining chip…neither are its people.

Political Terrorism must be defeated and put to rest…

America…First…

Not Republicans who put themselves first….

Time to clean the House….

We have differences of opinion…

We have our ideas of our lives and what works best for us…

Free-will was bestowed upon us through God’s Grace…Not through Man.

Yet, day in and day out, our free-will is being siphoned away from us by government entities and persons functioning under the misplaced belief that they know what is best for us…when in reality, it’s really what’s best for them. Much to our detriment, we elect most of these people through false claims and declarations they make to secure positions of power…and the people suffer.

Everyday in our daily course of living, someone is always infringing upon our rights to be…and our freedom…

Choices that are clearly individual…within our free-will and our choice to choose…are being involuntarily removed from our free-will…and our freedom to be shepherds of our own temples….The hypocrisy of “Right to Life” advocacy is the killing of people of color with such impunity…How can one dictate to another about the choices they make regarding their body and the right to life? Your judgments and conclusions may suit your life…yet they may not fit the lives of others in their life or circumstance…It is this self-righteousness that is leading to the decline of humanity. Infringing upon the rights….free-will and freedoms of others only leads to dissension and demise…

Condemning or condoning another person’s decisions is to play God…especially when their decisions are theirs to make…

Our accountability on the exercising of our free-will is not answerable to man…but to a higher source…especially when the choices we make are inclusive to ourselves…without infringing upon the lives of anyone outside of our circle.

For me…there is God…because I cannot have traveled my journey to this part of my life… without Supreme Presence…through the chaos created by Man….

Choices…that are clearly individual….within our free-will and our choice to choose…have become everybody’s business…someone else’s judgment…which usurps and halts our freedom…our right to be…our free-will.

Suddenly, voting rights around the country are being changed to disenfranchise specific voters at the cost of our democracy…if our democracy was strong, these orchestrated attempts to gain an edge in elections would not have been allowed to come into play.

What has happened to Freedom?

If freedom is so easy to take away or halt…we must ask the question…and the question is: “Have we ever had Freedom…or ever really been free…at all?”

Creating false beliefs to freedom have always been in practice and always been in play…right before our very eyes….and somehow…some way….we have allowed ourselves to be conned into believing…that Freedom Rings….

Home of the Brave…

Land of the Free…

Whose freedom?!

We are always being forced to comply with someone else’s ideas…theories…conclusions…conspiracies…

Lately, it is the belief that people have grown used to being supported by government stimulus and have no desire to go back into the workforce…Nothing could be further from the truth…yet all of a sudden, it is safe to go out without masks…if you’re vaccinated…People are being pressured into getting vaccinations by dangling freedoms in front of them like carrots…people who need the unemployment stimulus, are being forced to go back to work, even if they are not qualified…. or over qualified…lost their jobs which are never coming back…have child care or not…have children that are still out of school…have not overcome pandemic post traumatic stress and fears… Yet someone else’s misplaced beliefs and conclusions, have taken precedence over your freedom to decide when your life can once again find the “normal” to function and participate in the mainstream of living…without fear and deprivation.

Use your “Savior’s Staff” to eradicate Racism…Hatred…Prejudice…Discrimination…Selfishness….Greed…and all the other unpleasantries that are engaged in and practiced to tear apart humanity and destroy truth…and castrate love….

Can we let go of judgments…control and power long enough to…

Let Freedom Ring?

Time will surely tell…

May Day…A celebration of Spring…

At a casino near Green Bay, Wisconsin today…on May Day…there were multiple people shot…

While America is working to control a pandemic…shootings are fast becoming a daily epidemic. Covid-19 has taken so many from so many families…and it is still ongoing…and yet day in and day out those walking among us…some wearing “to protect and serve uniforms” are sending a message of life deprivation and death with their own lethal branding…pulling out guns and snuffing out life.

So much for a celebration of Spring…or celebrating anything for that matter…

It is long past standing up to address gun control and police reform. We cannot put off or sleep on these issues any longer…these acts of violence will only continue and grow in severity until they land on the doorstep of those who can initiate and bring about change in recognizing the value of all human lives…and the urgency of gun control…

Providence is reaching out and speaking out to humanity…listen and take heed.

Covid-19…the many public executions of people of color…multiple and mass shootings in schools…malls…movie theaters…work places…churches…concerts…wherever there is life going on about its business…there are those looking to take it away because we are not paying attention or taking warnings seriously enough when they are given.

Five months into 2021…and we are still faced with confronting the same issues.

Don’t you think its time here in America to righteously care about celebrating life…by protecting it?

We have the tools and the voice…don’t let tragedy land on your doorstep before doing something about it…No one is safe…if you believe you are…then you believe that tomorrow is promised to you….

Celebrate life…be an instrument of reform…

Spring has sprung…a time of renewed hope after a bleak, cold winter…

The Republicans On The Hill…Must Go…

It is time to realize that the present Republicans on the Hill are doing nothing more than condemning those who put them there to hard times and continued Republican propaganda.

It is clearly an affront to people everywhere to constantly listen to their unfounded rhetoric against Democrats, or “The Left” or Progressives…It isn’t a crime to help Americans get back on their feet during this pandemic…it isn’t a crime trying to bring back the principles and values so corrupted by those of the Republican Party; that uphold democracy and the ideals of America…to be enjoyed by every American citizen!

Stonewalling in the Senate and the House by Republicans is against everything that America stands for… Putting the American people in the midst of their “war” on those on the other side of the aisle is unconstitutional and a tactic to keep our country divided and at war with each other…for no reason. How difficult must it be to just want to live? Yet, we are being pulled into the treachery and underhandedness of a Party that does not honor America or what she stands for…They have shown their hand so many times…and it is not for the benefit of this country or its people! Wake up! Stop being bamboozled into madness which is designed to rob you of your liberties and freedoms…your dreams and your comforts…and your peace.

The Republicans have placed their agenda above and beyond the people constituency that support them and cast their votes for them. Whatever integrity the Republican party once had is long, long gone…and has been for decades, and came to light for all to see, with the rise of Trump. Power is a dangerous, lethal weapon in the hands of those who are soulless, without conscience and put themselves first….as was demonstrated by the GOP in the last four years.

Our tax dollars have been going into pockets that aren’t ours for years, including politicians! Yes, your tax dollars are making other people, namely politicians, wealthy…your interest on your student loans…are making many of those politicians wealthy….yet, they don’t want to give tax breaks to the working class, because that would mean fat cats and corporations would have to start paying what they haven’t been, in taxes, for decades! These are the entities and people Republican politicians are paid to protect…not the everyday Joes and Janes who are the real supporters of this country! Wake up!!!

Stop being caught up in “divisive politics.” Stop supporting those who are using you as a smoke screen to further their agenda… you will never be invited to sit at their table unless you can be used…Stop being used…Respect yourself. Take time to really examine and see what is going on before your very eyes.

Wake up and research your politicians…

Republicans on the Hill must go.

Give yourselves and your children the gift of a better life and future…

Good people of America…Follow your hearts and your minds…Only the Truth will set you free…

We are not “Party fodder”…We are people…We are Americans…

Tell McConnell and his crew to stop stonewalling…and come to the aid of their constituency…instead of condemning them to poverty, lies and endless propaganda…it’s “UN American,” divisive and stagnating the growth and progress of America.

Time to show these archaic Republicans the door….

Everyday In America…Today Another Step Towards Salvation…

Everyday in America, we are faced with some new challenge that we have awakened due to our own self-examination…and we will continue to encounter these challenges as long as we live our lives and function in a great divide…

This journey of salvation is necessary to change the hearts of many and strengthen the hearts of those familiar with the path our entire nation must now take part in…or perish.

Today, we reached a pinnacle in the quest of salvaging our humanity, with a verdict that announced to the world that we can reach into our hearts…and uphold truth…honor our principles and values in acknowledging that everyone, regardless of color, are entitled to life…liberty…and the pursuit of happiness. God honored life in creating it…we can honor life by preserving it…it is our duty to be shepherds of life…not to discriminate and decide who has the right to live and breathe…and who doesn’t.

I experienced a sense of peace in my tears while hearing the verdict in this trial of Derek Chauvin and his taking of George Floyd’s life…for his (George’s) family…and all the other families touched and torn apart by racism so blatantly practiced by some in law enforcement uniforms… who constantly breach their oaths with impunity to “protect and serve”…as a way to exterminate and eliminate those who do not look like them… As was the case with my brother…and so many countless others through the years…and still continuing… because of the color of their skin…and their justice was not an option to ever be considered…until now.

We still have a long, long road to travel in ultimately understanding what it means to be a part of humanity and stand up for human lives…not colors…and understand that diversity is God’s gift of love to us…He sees the beauty and purpose in every human being… Can’t we?

Today’s verdict gave us a flame in the torch that we must carry forward…on our journey to salvation as a nation…and as people who belong to the human race…striving to preserve our humanity….

We….are the reflection of our salvation….

We are the flames that ignite…and light…the torch we carry forward today…

Let us use it…to light our way into every tomorrow…..
