Had my brother Stanley lived…today would have been his birthday…

He was killed by police while visiting relatives in Louisiana…away from his California home. He would have been 68.

I wonder, “What will it take to unlearn hate?” How can those who have come to believe that anyone who does not look like them… cannot have the same rights to life as they do? Self-appointed judges over others…will come to be judged themselves…it is Universal Law…of which there is no escape.

Another young, Black life was taken over the weekend…Daunte Wright…20 years on this earth…ended in a single gunshot. The officer said she meant to “taze” him. Why? A gun mistaken for a Taser…How could a mistake like that be made? Perhaps if violent police reactions were checked before being carried out…more lives of color would be spared…but first, they must unlearn hate…

The stereotypes…myths…resentments and hatreds must be confronted and laid to rest. The need to end Black lives by police must be addressed and given the tools necessary to bring about change and equality in the treatment of people of color.

There was no need for violence against Daunte Wright…Violence isn’t the road to compliance. It is often the road to ending a life. And ten times out of ten it is the life of the Black suspect. Justified by magnifying the victim as having an unsavory lifestyle…such as drugs…or a previous conviction record…and what of those who have no prior convictions? Something is always produced as justification for taking their lives. Mainly, for being Black.

A 26-year police veteran can’t tell the difference between a Gun and a Taser? This is going to be a long road…a chaotic road…a solemn road…whatever road is traveled…Justice…must come at the end of that road.

America is walking backward…

To Unlearn Hate…can take a lifetime…and then some…however, we must start somewhere…and it must start TODAY.

To wait until tomorrow…will be too late.

Our country can’t afford to wait…

A Time For Balance…

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven…

Ecclesiastes 3 lays out in detail about every purpose having a season and a time.

Here is a summary…

A time to be born…

A time to die…

A time to plant…

A time to sow…

A time to kill…

A time to heal…

A time to break down…

A time to build up…

A time to weep…

A time to laugh…

A time to morn…

A time to dance…

A time to cast away stones…

A time to gather stones…

A time to embrace…

A time not to embrace…

A time to get…

A time to lose…

A time to keep…

A time to cast away…

A time to tear…

A time to mend…

A time to be silent…

A time to speak…

A time to love…

A time to hate…

A time for war…

A time for peace…

Now is the time for balance…

For all things that have been done…contrary to the order of life and environment…there will now be balance.

To continue with the lies and actions which continue to adversely affect lives…the perpetrators will know balance as a result of their transgressions…

To watch a man…murdered before our very eyes…and to use defenses such as “angry crowd interference” with an officer’s judgement… or drugs killed him… or any other ludicrous excuse in defense of the action which took George Floyd’s life…is strongly trying convince us that we did not see what we did in fact see…An officer of the law positioned with his knee firmly planted on a man of color’s neck…while he cried out that he could not breathe.  Maybe if George Floyd were allowed to live…eventually, perhaps drug use would have taken his life…instead of a knee firmly planted in his neck cutting off his ability to breathe.

Why don’t we ask for an example? Why don’t we try the same situation on someone…recreating the act itself, to position a person on top of a person…knee in neck…for 9 minutes and 29 seconds, and see if they can survive it, without any repercussion…or better yet, live to tell about it.

Become George Floyd…

Feel that knee in your neck…

Now is the time for balance…

Every day in America…we are confronted with standing up and being a country of defending liberty and justice for all… We can’t run away…hide our heads in the sand…or keep silent…

We cannot afford to fail the dream of America…

We cannot afford to sell America down the river…

We cannot afford to forfeit Freedom…

Our very souls depend on it…

A time for every purpose under heaven….

Now…..

What unites us…will always divide us…because differences of opinion will always exist where humankind is present…

Inauguration Day, January 20, 2021…President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris…Historic firsts in many respects…

While the promise of today can lead us into a better future tomorrow…we must always remember that there is right and wrong…weak and strong…winners and losers…

Our democracy was tested…severely with the insurrection and assault on the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021…

We cannot move forward without accountability being rendered to those who incited, participated, and continue to defend this act of sedition and treason according to our Constitution.

We cannot entertain unity without restoring credibility to our democracy…in following what it deems necessary in the treatment of those who attempted to overthrow it.

Impeachment is necessary. To impose it will cause division…Not to impose it will cause division…either decision will lead to division…yet, it is unavoidable…because in doing the right thing, which is always going to be an objection by someone…no matter what…the right thing must be done in order to uphold the laws of our nation…to uphold the Constitution…

Lindsey Graham’s outrageous comment to Joe Biden,

“If you do not stand up against the impeachment of President Trump after he leaves office, you’re an incredibly weak figure in American history.”

In the eyes of many in this country and the world…Lindsey Graham, along with the majority of the Republican Party, already own that distinction.

Spineless…mindless…and damned…the GOP willingly chose their path.  They have destroyed their credibility to voice any road to unity for our country, because lies and denial still strongly influence their road to retaining a Trump supporter base, supporting the Republican Party…whatever it stands for….

While Truth is the “great redeemer”…it is also the great divider…because not everyone can handle the truth…However, in time…truth heals…and truth eventually unites…

Trying to unify a country where a defeated party urges continued ignorance of its flaws, cracks, fissures, fractures, lies, and wide divides, is further inviting attacks upon our democracy and our ability to defend it.

To those who continue to believe they know the will of the people…and what they want…stop doing it!  Our will is not your will…opinion or solution.

There are millions of Americans, regardless of their Party affiliations, who want accountability for the January 6, 2021 incident, as well as the lies and deceptions and delusions that were cast upon them by their Republican officials, and their leader, Trump.

The American people were intentionally duped the last four years…for political power and self-aggrandizement by the GOP.

Impeachment and accountability will unify and strengthen our democracy, its credibility and resiliency.

Today’s Inauguration of President Biden and Vice-President Harris was historic…and will turn the page on a former administration that countless Americans clearly would like to be erased from ever taking place…yet it cannot be done without…Accountability.

Division is inevitable…there is no way around it.  It is a necessary byproduct to healing…and Unity.

All of our obstacles can be overcome…Covid-19…our depressed and suffering economy… social justice and reform…regaining our country’s credibility and place in the world…our integrity and viability as a nation…We…are the building blocks to restoring America…

We must begin with what we truly stand for…Liberty and Justice for all comes with a high price tag…

Democracy demands accountability…

Here’s the question…

Are we willing to pay the price of truth in accountability…to attain unity?

One Nation…Under God…Indivisible…

Tests its mettle…

With… Division…

One Nation…Under God…Indivisible…

I have said this before…and I will say it again…God will not be mocked.

White supremacy is an affront to God…

To declare anything using God…and acting to the contrary is doing nothing more than inviting Divine retribution. Belief is not a necessary element…every cause has an effect…

On Wednesday, January 6, 2021…America fell from grace…

The appalling insurrection against the Capitol Building in Washington, DC, instigated and continually fueled by Trump and his constituents relentlessly attacking the integrity of the 2020 election and the voting process; was witnessed around the world.  Not only securing doubts about democracy, but witnessing the fall of a giant and ardent supporter, America, who touts being the supreme example of “Democracy.”

Time and time again, the practice of Structural Racism and the institutionalized, condoned behavior and socialization of white supremacy firmly fabricated within the United States, has done nothing but agitate, aggravate, and highlight a foundation of democracy that was built and constructed upon “white supremacy.”

White supremacy is the belief that white people are superior to those of other races and should dominate them…giving rise to belief, defense and maintenance of white power and white privilege…Especially over people of color whose ancestors were forcibly brought to America from Africa to serve as slaves…chattel…victims…disposables…

God will not be mocked…and we must never lose sight of God.

If there is a belief in God and Creation…it must be understood that all are a part of God’s Conscience…functioning within your conscious…

One Nation…Under God…Indivisible….

It appears that all we have ever known…is divisiveness. Especially on Wednesday, and all through the last four years…from the very inception of the Republic…centuries ago.

The most significant and crucial element of democracy is missing and continues to hinder its growth…and that is…CHANGE.

With that being said, the Constitution must change to accommodate the times.

Life has changed and the U.S. Constitution must be amended to encompass change…if democracy is to move forward in standing as a “foundation” in governing…Democracy must have a clean slate to withstand and deliver the ideals of liberty and justice for all…for any nation or any country…especially this nation…this country…

Democracy is defined as “A system of government by the whole of the population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.”

Beginning with the expelling and dissolution of white supremacy…Serving two masters is a fatal process and cannot realize true attainment of democracy in practice “for the people, by the people”…with liberty and justice for all.

Democracy practiced for self-serving purposes is nothing more than a fool’s folly.

Until we can face what really divides us we cannot come together as a nation and rebuild our democracy…or repair the divisiveness.

How often do we stand in denial and cringe at the truth?  We cannot afford to lose another day standing in denial…we must embrace the truth… Truth is the only element that will set this nation free…

Trump and his GOP, as well as his supporters…must face the truth and stop wallowing in white supremacy…

The eyes of the world are all focused on the divisiveness…the doctrines of white supremacy, the lies, the misdirection and the misinformation unleashed upon the country, unabashedly nurtured and dispensed by the GOP…and the aftermath of violence it delivered upon our democracy…

The 25th Amendment would give instantaneous relief to a country beleaguered by Trump and Republican representatives who still nurse self-serving delusions…in their world of privilege, still harboring party loyalty above the good and well-being of the people and country… who they took oaths to serve…it does not matter that there’s just a week and a half left…  So much more damage can be unleashed upon the people and the country in that time…all it takes… is one day out of that week and a half….

As the eyes of the world are upon us…we the people must not forget…and we must take the reins to usher in the change that will salvage and save the foundation of democracy…”For the People…By the People.”

Take a long look at America’s history…

We can build a stronger, better, and lasting foundation upon which to rest our democracy…

One Nation…Under God…Indivisible… With Liberty and Justice…

For All…

We are standing on the edge of a greater precipice…

Will we land on our feet…or be crushed in the fall?

Time… will write this ending…

Along with our love of our country…our fellow countrymen and women…

And our desire to rise from the ashes…victorious and renewed…

Here we are…December 31, 2020…

We never thought we’d make it…many didn’t…

Should you take anything from 2020 into 2021, take their memories…take their love…and leave the rest behind…

If 2020 has taught us anything, it has taught us how precious life is…and how in the blink of an eye…it’s gone….

Remember your principles and values…remember how important truth, justice and courage are to you in being true to yourself…

Remember how standing up and making your voice heard…is…life-changing….

Remember that a lie is a lie is a lie…no matter how many lies are spun…lies can never erase the truth…

Remember that the true worth of a person is their character… and if you put your trust in anyone who lacks character and integrity…nothing good will come of it.

Remember to never cast your pearls before swine…they will never be appreciated or valued…they will be trampled.

Remember that politics is just another twisted, cruel game…where citizens are conned, connived and manipulated by those who want nothing more than to satisfy their quest for power and material gains…at your expense…the few who are there to do service for you and their country are far few and in between…and often are targeted or suppressed from doing the will of the people.  Don’t be fooled by rhetoric…Remember Donald Trump and his Republican constituents…Masters of the game in leading sheep to slaughter…and how willingly and wantonly his sheep supporters follow and drink the Kool-Aid…without question or pause…such a frightening realization…

Remember how people came together to support and help one another in their darkest of hours…How we are at our best…when things around us are at their worst…

Remember how the coronavirus gave us insight into ourselves…while forcing us into isolation…to save ourselves…

Remember that the only resolution you need to bring into 2021 from this New Year’s Eve…is to live a good life…Remembering that your good life is connected to your humanity…and every individual who crosses your path…on your journey through life…

End 2020 by becoming a better version of yourself…by remembering all of the adversity you overcame in this passing year…

Goodbye 2020…

Goodbye…Forever!

Not just another New Year’s Eve…2020.

An Eve that will be taking you into a whole new life…and a whole new awareness…

No matter how dark the night…

Or how long the day…

No matter how dark the clouds that come your way…

Love Always Wins…

Love should always be the focus in all of our lives, come what may. If we remember to temper everything with love…we will always take away the best in any given situation…no matter how dark and foreboding…

Our Nation made their voices heard on November 3rd, 2020…and the majority voices prevailed…throughout the land…and throughout the heavens…

America’s future is Freedom…

America’s future is Liberty…

America’s future is Justice…

America’s future is a safe haven…

America’s future is embracing her diversity…

America’s future is back on track…

If we ever lose what America stands for…we will cease to be…

Looking through the crowd of people overcome with joy and tears of that joy streaming down many faces…I saw a young girl…overcome with emotion and holding a sign as she watched and listened to Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris speak…The sign read: “Love Always Wins.”

Yes…it does…and if we ever forget that…we will be forever lost in darkness.

The “Presidential Debate?” What debate?! It was a debacle.

God Help Us…

We must be bigger and better than what millions of us witnessed tonight.

Our country cannot…will not…survive another four years of narcissistic, Lessons In Evil Subtantiated…LIES…..

We are faced with a task of choosing what will be the best administration for our country…to heal…beat the virus…to get back to work…and to unify for the benefit of saving a nation that is clearly in danger of self-destruction.

We must stop passing the buck and stand up and be counted. We must speak up and use our voices…loud…and clear…That we will not be ignored any longer. We are the Democracy…We…The People. We cannot and must not be fearful of doing what is clearly the right thing to do for our country.

We must elect politicians who will usher in change…Who recognize that the current parties are in desperate need of an overhaul…and a serious restructuring and rebuilding…We must break the old belief systems of the past…rejecting those politicians who insist upon taking our country back to the “dark ages” and empower those who are projecting and practicing “Change.”

Our country will not withstand its present course under archaic and exclusivity politics now in practice and full swing… We will never be a great nation…or a free nation…if we continue to accept the shackles and chains that now bind each and every American…Black…White…Red…Yellow…Brown…Blue…Purple…Whatever! We must start with eliminating the “labels” and separations…and realize that we are all “Human Beings” and members of Humanity.

God Help Us…to remember that we are not the chaos and hatred that is embraced like a life-saver…it is an anchor which weighs us down…and will eventually be the death of us…all of us…there will be no survivors who are schooled through chaos and hatred….

We cannot continue to embrace darkness over Love and Truth….This time is “Do or Die” time…We must choose the light of love over the darkness of chaos and disorder…We will not survive it…our nation will go up in flames…like other once strong and rising nations…who lost their footing…and eventually perished…because they thought they were greater than what they really were…greatness without an “equitable” foundation is already a foundation crumbling….

After what was witnessed tonight…We must invest in Truth…Justice…Unity…We The People….The salvation of our country is in our hands…Vote…You will and can change the present course of our country…

The greatness of America…is Her people…

God Help Us…

To realize that.

A Stark Reminder…Time To Step Up…

I am reposting it here to remind everyone that we must be vigilant…and we must unify…making the necessary changes to truly make America great and remove the toxic waste from the White House by sending a Blue Tsunami…read on…

”Today is a new day with a very real, realization…life has changed, and will continue to change with each passing day…our lives as we know them to be are in “dismantle mode” by the present regime that has taken over our nation’s capital and seeks to destroy and deprive us of our hard-won freedoms and humanity, while desecrating and negating the Constitution which created a path to the dream of America…It is by no means perfect, and it is in desperate need of an overhaul…but not by a deranged and soulless dilettante who fancies himself a leader, followed by a legion of mindless vessels, all too willing to do his bidding; while nipping at his heels to be favored for a chance to claim fifteen minutes of fame to push forth their own mad agendas in wreaking more chaos and havoc upon our country, and the world.

We must continue moving forward in unity…ever vigilant in keeping America the “land of the free…and the home of the brave.” We must never again cast our pearls before swine…believing that they will handle them with care and value their worth…every individual with a conscience and a heart are one of those pearls being trampled beneath the feet of the swine disrupting democracy while threatening to further pollute and assist the global deterioration of our home and planet…

Our greatness is our ability to be our best at our worst times…isolation is our enemy, and abandonment to those suffering in the world due to man’s inhumanity to man…leads us to abandon ourselves, if we abandon those who are suffering due to ignorance and self-aggrandizement by those among us who care not for the value of life…nor the privilege of choice, in doing the right thing, and championing Truth, then we are no better than they are, because in the end, Truth is our only salvation.

”Lies” are “Lessons In Evil Substantiated.” Let us not continue to substantiate the endless ocean of lies coming from the present Republican administration in support of their “Master of Lies.” Many of them have placed the “power and control” of their Party before the Nation and the People they swore an oath of allegiance to protect and serve…

Seeds of lies and corruption will never bear honest, robust fruit.  Never, ever let anyone convince you that you will survive by partaking of “rotten anything,” as you will surely perish!

Together…from town to town…city to city…state to state…country to country…around the world, continue to stand in solidarity and RESIST…at each and every given opportunity…and create opportunity to proclaim:

”You will honor We the People…You will bend to the Will of the People…or You will fall under our sword, as we believe and practice Truth…Freedom…Justice…Liberty…Human Rights…and any individual’s right to “be”…We will take up our armor of Morals…Values…Commandments…Freedom of Speech…and the Constitution of our Nation…and we will wield the Sword stained with the blood and dignity of our Forefathers…our Ancestors…our Veterans…our Mothers…Fathers…Sisters…Brothers…our Children…all Sacrificial Lambs fallen by insurgents, prejudices, discriminations, bigotry…hatred…and we will defeat you! We are the real and true Spirit and Heart of America…who were one-time Immigrants…and Slaves, who built this country…and WE are bent on healing the wounds and ceasing the pain caused by those who were here before us, and those who may come after us…We Will RESIST the tyranny of ANY person, place or thing, because WE are the RESISTANCE. We the People, in all of our diversity, the fabric of America, and we…will not stand for your virulent branding of “45” upon our Chests…Arms…Wrists…Backs…Foreheads…or Minds…Not today…not ever! “Never Again!!!!”

Since this February 21, 2017 posting, our country has endured an administration of doom…and our country is on the brink of chaotic collapse… We the People must unify…or die. Our country and our nation of dreams has called us into battle…Her salvation and future…is in OUR hands.

Can we reignite the dream? Today was a celebration of the man who had a dream…Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

He was assassinated in his quest to realize a dream of equality for Americans of African descent by peacefully removing the manacles and chains of segregation and discrimination.

How many decades backward have we traveled with the present pachyderm infestation immobilizing our country?

We must Reignite The Dream…

Today, Martin Luther King, Jr. must become more than just a celebration and memorial dedicated to a third Monday in January… it must become a day of continued movement in the realization of his dream, and a new freedom march in reclaiming and rebuilding a country with a stronger foundation built on, and living the words of “Liberty and Justice for all.”

We must Reignite The Dream…

Martin Luther King Jr. stood for Equality…and he was a man of integrity…

Kellyanne Conway… Martin Luther King, Jr. would have stood up for Trump’s Impeachment… You didn’t know him at all…Read his “I Have A Dream” speech…the time for enlightenment is ever-present…
