Soul Searching…

If we haven’t already…now is the time to do some soul searching…

It’s time to take a good look inside of ourselves…and ask questions…and seek honest answers to the questions…from ourselves.

It’s time for accountability…from all of us.

Who are we? What do we want for America? What do we want for ourselves?

You see…what we want for America is going to determine our lives…our children’s lives…and the future of America.

After Trump’s insurrection failed on Wednesday to overturn tenets of our Democracy…it left open some very important avenues of thought…and opened up discoveries of character in government officials…that were elected into office…by the people.

This “Trump Revolution” revealed that there are still people functioning within our government who support the violence and desecration that took place against and in the Capitol Building, by their continued insistence of resistance to accept the voice and will of the people through their votes…

Those Senators and Representatives who still insisted upon their objections by citing the Election as fraudulent and “rigged” during the certification process, clearly declared their allegiance to a violent mob of domestic terrorists…and a rogue seditionist by the name of Donald Trump…Who once was followed and supported by the entire GOP…

“Loyal” behavior and practice in respect to one’s party does not belong in bipartisan politics…it does not serve the people…it only serves “Party politics” and “Party” lust of power…We were given an inside view and four years of demonstration, by the Republican Party.

“If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed……..and we will deserve it.”

Senator Lindsey Graham tweeted this back on May 3, 2016.

He clearly ignored the voice of his soul…and lost it along the way.  Winning back his soul and the confidence of the people will be a long, uphill climb for him and his colleagues, if at all possible to do so…

Which goes to say that the present GOP should be held at arm’s length and seriously re-evaluated as to their viability in serving the American people with integrity, courage, honor and respect to the oaths that they took to serve, and their ability to put country before self-serving interests.  In this case, severing the head from the body is only half the solution to restoring the sanctity of American Democracy.

Resignations…re-elections…and replacements should be the order of the day for Republican Senators and House Representatives who have shown their true colors…and they are still a danger to democracy as long as they are allowed to hold their seats in both Houses.

The strength of leadership is reflective of its constituents…

Those of us who understand the ideals of America and what America should be and can be…know that this is the time to stand up be true to the concept of America…

Land of the Free…Home of the Brave does not enlist what we’ve witnessed in the last four years, culminating in Wednesday’s horrific display of home-grown terrorism…cultivated by a self-serving, narcissistic sociopath, and a power mesmerized group of individuals calling themselves, “The Party of Lincoln.”  Think of how many times Lincoln turned over in his grave….

Soul Searching… this is not who we are…

Soul Searching… this is not what we want for our children…

Soul Searching… this is not what we want for America…

Soul Searching… this is not what we want for ourselves…

Soul Searching… this is not America…while many want it to be…it is not.

Every last one of those insurgents who stormed the Capitol Building…are descendants of immigrants… Not one of them are indigenous to America…including Donald Trump.

America…does not belong, and never has naturally belonged to them.

The Natives of America understood and honored their relationship with this country in a giving and taking which respected the unity and the reverence of life and support… by protecting this land…And they were punished…and some tribes wiped out for it.

We cannot have history repeating itself by feeding the demons who thrive from sowing hatred and destruction due to their lack and absence of humanity…

We stand at a door that now leads to the future of America…

We will determine what she stands for…and how we will achieve the best of America and her ideals…or fall further into a chaotic inferno of her demise…

Soul Searching will be the agenda for the coming year…

Every day we are given to rise…we must search our souls…we must understand how important we are in securing the future of our nation…and one another…

What do you love most about living?

Search your souls before you answer…

Tomorrow is not promised to any of us…but we can ensure a better tomorrow…today….

A Stark Reminder…Time To Step Up…

I first wrote this post to Facebook on February 21, 2017…It has served to be a continuing prophecy to date. I am reposting it here to remind everyone that we must be vigilant…and we must unify…making the necessary changes to truly make America great and remove the toxic waste from the White House by sending a Blue Tsunami…read on…

”Today is a new day with a very real, realization…life has changed, and will continue to change with each passing day…our lives as we know them to be are in “dismantle mode” by the present regime that has taken over our nation’s capital and seeks to destroy and deprive us of our hard-won freedoms and humanity, while desecrating and negating the Constitution which created a path to the dream of America…It is by no means perfect, and it is in desperate need of an overhaul…but not by a deranged and soulless dilettante who fancies himself a leader, followed by a legion of mindless vessels, all too willing to do his bidding; while nipping at his heels to be favored for a chance to claim fifteen minutes of fame to push forth their own mad agendas in wreaking more chaos and havoc upon our country, and the world.

We must continue moving forward in unity…ever vigilant in keeping America the “land of the free…and the home of the brave.” We must never again cast our pearls before swine…believing that they will handle them with care and value their worth…every individual with a conscience and a heart are one of those pearls being trampled beneath the feet of the swine disrupting democracy while threatening to further pollute and assist the global deterioration of our home and planet…

Our greatness is our ability to be our best at our worst times…isolation is our enemy, and abandonment to those suffering in the world due to man’s inhumanity to man…leads us to abandon ourselves, if we abandon those who are suffering due to ignorance and self-aggrandizement by those among us who care not for the value of life…nor the privilege of choice, in doing the right thing, and championing Truth, then we are no better than they are, because in the end, Truth is our only salvation.

”Lies” are “Lessons In Evil Substantiated.” Let us not continue to substantiate the endless ocean of lies coming from the present Republican administration in support of their “Master of Lies.” Many of them have placed the “power and control” of their Party before the Nation and the People they swore an oath of allegiance to protect and serve…

Seeds of lies and corruption will never bear honest, robust fruit.  Never, ever let anyone convince you that you will survive by partaking of “rotten anything,” as you will surely perish!

Together…from town to town…city to city…state to state…country to country…around the world, continue to stand in solidarity and RESIST…at each and every given opportunity…and create opportunity to proclaim:

”You will honor We the People…You will bend to the Will of the People…or You will fall under our sword, as we believe and practice Truth…Freedom…Justice…Liberty…Human Rights…and any individual’s right to “be”…We will take up our armor of Morals…Values…Commandments…Freedom of Speech…and the Constitution of our Nation…and we will wield the Sword stained with the blood and dignity of our Forefathers…our Ancestors…our Veterans…our Mothers…Fathers…Sisters…Brothers…our Children…all Sacrificial Lambs fallen by insurgents, prejudices, discriminations, bigotry…hatred…and we will defeat you! We are the real and true Spirit and Heart of America…who were one-time Immigrants…and Slaves, who built this country…and WE are bent on healing the wounds and ceasing the pain caused by those who were here before us, and those who may come after us…We Will RESIST the tyranny of ANY person, place or thing, because WE are the RESISTANCE. We the People, in all of our diversity, the fabric of America, and we…will not stand for your virulent branding of “45” upon our Chests…Arms…Wrists…Backs…Foreheads…or Minds…Not today…not ever! “Never Again!!!!”

Since this February 21, 2017 posting, our country has endured an administration of doom…and our country is on the brink of chaotic collapse… We the People must unify…or die. Our country and our nation of dreams has called us into battle…Her salvation and future…is in OUR hands.

I cannot put “President” before your name, because you’re not my president…and from your actions since taking over the White House, you’re not the people’s president either.

My mother taught me to respect all people…including the fools among us…hence, the “Mr.” Trump…You are a classic “social” anti-social…you seek to lay waste to all that is good and just in the United States from the highest seat in the nation affecting other parts of the world, under the guise of “Making America Great, Again.”

We will examine that phrase in more depth at another time…but for now, your task at “making greatness” has been nothing more than promoting more divisiveness, chaos and oppression…

The greatness of America lays in her meaning…Yes, the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor, is a woman, a beacon of freedom for those seeking sanctuary and a new life of liberty, along with the pursuit of happiness, in her land…such is your respect for women!

Lest you’ve forgotten, you are the product of immigrants…your wife is an immigrant…in your latest order to ban Muslim immigrants into the country, and your assaults on other immigrants, you are also hurling insults at the memory of your parents, and slapping your wife in the face!

Ignoring your own history as an immigrant, much like Adolf Hitler held blond and blue-eyed to be the “superior in race,” as he himself was brown-eyed, brown hair…to his own admission in description of superior… he was”inferior.”

The indigenous people of the United States of America are Native Americans…Not White Supremacists…perhaps that is why you can so callously sign the halted Dakota Access Pipeline back into play, ignoring the repercussions to health, welfare, tribal customs and environment devastation…just to make a few extra bucks.  The few thousand jobs created short-term are not worth the massive destruction you’ve endorsed…

You do not represent “we the people”… You do not represent the dream of the Founding Fathers… You do not represent the Constitution of the United States…You are not representative of what the dreams and ideals of America stand for…

Your actions, your words, your thoughts, your deeds…are everything that America is not.  Your “style guide” is not a book recommended for anyone’s read or instruction.  Accepting you would make you my accepted style guide…and I don’t accept you… You have no heart…no soul…

ISIS cuts off heads…You, Mr. Trump…you cut out hearts….
