Soul Searching…

If we haven’t already…now is the time to do some soul searching…

It’s time to take a good look inside of ourselves…and ask questions…and seek honest answers to the questions…from ourselves.

It’s time for accountability…from all of us.

Who are we? What do we want for America? What do we want for ourselves?

You see…what we want for America is going to determine our lives…our children’s lives…and the future of America.

After Trump’s insurrection failed on Wednesday to overturn tenets of our Democracy…it left open some very important avenues of thought…and opened up discoveries of character in government officials…that were elected into office…by the people.

This “Trump Revolution” revealed that there are still people functioning within our government who support the violence and desecration that took place against and in the Capitol Building, by their continued insistence of resistance to accept the voice and will of the people through their votes…

Those Senators and Representatives who still insisted upon their objections by citing the Election as fraudulent and “rigged” during the certification process, clearly declared their allegiance to a violent mob of domestic terrorists…and a rogue seditionist by the name of Donald Trump…Who once was followed and supported by the entire GOP…

“Loyal” behavior and practice in respect to one’s party does not belong in bipartisan politics…it does not serve the people…it only serves “Party politics” and “Party” lust of power…We were given an inside view and four years of demonstration, by the Republican Party.

“If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed……..and we will deserve it.”

Senator Lindsey Graham tweeted this back on May 3, 2016.

He clearly ignored the voice of his soul…and lost it along the way.  Winning back his soul and the confidence of the people will be a long, uphill climb for him and his colleagues, if at all possible to do so…

Which goes to say that the present GOP should be held at arm’s length and seriously re-evaluated as to their viability in serving the American people with integrity, courage, honor and respect to the oaths that they took to serve, and their ability to put country before self-serving interests.  In this case, severing the head from the body is only half the solution to restoring the sanctity of American Democracy.

Resignations…re-elections…and replacements should be the order of the day for Republican Senators and House Representatives who have shown their true colors…and they are still a danger to democracy as long as they are allowed to hold their seats in both Houses.

The strength of leadership is reflective of its constituents…

Those of us who understand the ideals of America and what America should be and can be…know that this is the time to stand up be true to the concept of America…

Land of the Free…Home of the Brave does not enlist what we’ve witnessed in the last four years, culminating in Wednesday’s horrific display of home-grown terrorism…cultivated by a self-serving, narcissistic sociopath, and a power mesmerized group of individuals calling themselves, “The Party of Lincoln.”  Think of how many times Lincoln turned over in his grave….

Soul Searching… this is not who we are…

Soul Searching… this is not what we want for our children…

Soul Searching… this is not what we want for America…

Soul Searching… this is not what we want for ourselves…

Soul Searching… this is not America…while many want it to be…it is not.

Every last one of those insurgents who stormed the Capitol Building…are descendants of immigrants… Not one of them are indigenous to America…including Donald Trump.

America…does not belong, and never has naturally belonged to them.

The Natives of America understood and honored their relationship with this country in a giving and taking which respected the unity and the reverence of life and support… by protecting this land…And they were punished…and some tribes wiped out for it.

We cannot have history repeating itself by feeding the demons who thrive from sowing hatred and destruction due to their lack and absence of humanity…

We stand at a door that now leads to the future of America…

We will determine what she stands for…and how we will achieve the best of America and her ideals…or fall further into a chaotic inferno of her demise…

Soul Searching will be the agenda for the coming year…

Every day we are given to rise…we must search our souls…we must understand how important we are in securing the future of our nation…and one another…

What do you love most about living?

Search your souls before you answer…

Tomorrow is not promised to any of us…but we can ensure a better tomorrow…today….

I had been wanting to write something a few days ago…and my instincts told me to wait…Today’s startling and horrific events which took place at our nation’s Capitol was not anticipated to be the topic of my post…it was going to be on the future…how we must accentuate the positive…and how change for the beginning of our nation was on the upswing with the winning of two new Senators from Georgia…who were bringing positive and new ideals to the Senate…where a 50/50 split and a deciding vote in the Senate…was as it should be…and should have always been…because THAT is the meaning of “bipartisan” politics…

Then…once again…Trump happens. He has a penchant for making sure that he is at the center of every chaotic chapter of government and democracy unraveling to the tune of his demented imaginings…The problem is so simple to fix…yet those who can fix it lack the courage and integrity to do so.

Therefore, the world received another bird’s eye view into “The Ugly Americans.”

We cannot preach to the world what we cannot or will not practice. We cannot condemn what is perceived as “Third World” behavior…when Trump is writing the script and putting it into inception by his dictator mentality and his sociopathic behavior. Demanding loyalty to his divisive and destructive antics…

Four people died today at this domestic terrorist insurrection devised by Trump…Does anyone think he cares? One would think that his Party would snap out of it and understand that this person they so fear and have pledged their undying loyalty to, is just a man…a demented one no less…but just a man. A man who has lost an election and will be out of the White House, by hook or crook…on January 20, 2021. The fear and cowardice of his Party…has brought us to this moment of his lunacy…due to their quest for power…

“The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse.”

Edmund Burke knew… It takes truly special men and women to put country and its people first… The Republican Party has shown us in majority that they put themselves…first…Power over People…creating…”America…The Ugly.”

Now that this “Reign of Terror” which most of the GOP supported…and many still silently support, is nearing its public end…What is waiting in the wings…in their subversive chamber of horrors?

Will “Trumpism” fade into the woodwork once he is led from the White House? If only they had the courage and conviction to invoke Article 25… Two more weeks of Trump can give America another shocking and brutally devastating blow under his demonic madness in instigating boiling cauldrons of chaos…

Tomorrow is another day…

Let us hope that we are safe…

Not only from the virus…

But from each other…

Again we are relying on the compassion of one another to know the difference between right and wrong…and doing the right thing.

The other cheek is now stained with blood…

America…The Ugly?

We cannot afford to offer another cheek. To strengthen our nation we must be true to the values and documents of our democracy…

Getting it right with yourself means that not only you benefit…everyone around you does also.  Everyday…and every second of everyday…connect to the source… God…the Universe…whatever is the source that feeds your fountain…your soul…and connect to get your “assignment” for your life’s direction.  This will be the page of your “purpose” added to your Book of Life on your journey of conscious discovery…

Receive the Vision…meant for you…

Have ears to Listen…

Listen to the whisper…it will become louder and louder…God is speaking to you…

We are our own “experiment.” We determine if we will become a successful experiment…or a failed first trial…Everyday…every second…we have the ability to alter the “formula”, to add the right ingredients toward a successful outcome…or we can choose to stay with the present set of ingredients…and never produce a successful result….

Be true to yourself…set an example…become the remedy or solution. 

Don’t waste energy complaining or explaining the logic of any situation.  Become the solution and “project” the “cure.”

Life is much too short…every day we get confirmed truth of this realization. Power up through your source…and Become…

Become the person you want to be…by becoming the person you are meant to be…connecting to your source every moment of every day will guarantee you… Become…

Soon it will be “second nature” you will have developed your key to connect by remaining true to yourself.

This is the one place in your life where you become “selfish” to be “selfless”…

Once we get over the giddy feeling, we can get a better picture of what the New Year has in store for us…

The best thing to know is that 2020 is behind us and gone at last!

One thing we must continue to do for this year to start better is to continue social distancing and mask wearing…doing this will guarantee a better 2021, and the opportunity to begin normalizing our lives with the coming of summer months…

The vaccine is here…and it will expedite our chances of stopping the spread of the virus…if we all do our part for a little while longer.

The important thing to remember is to be mindful…

Here we are…December 31, 2020…

We never thought we’d make it…many didn’t…

Should you take anything from 2020 into 2021, take their memories…take their love…and leave the rest behind…

If 2020 has taught us anything, it has taught us how precious life is…and how in the blink of an eye…it’s gone….

Remember your principles and values…remember how important truth, justice and courage are to you in being true to yourself…

Remember how standing up and making your voice heard…is…life-changing….

Remember that a lie is a lie is a lie…no matter how many lies are spun…lies can never erase the truth…

Remember that the true worth of a person is their character… and if you put your trust in anyone who lacks character and integrity…nothing good will come of it.

Remember to never cast your pearls before swine…they will never be appreciated or valued…they will be trampled.

Remember that politics is just another twisted, cruel game…where citizens are conned, connived and manipulated by those who want nothing more than to satisfy their quest for power and material gains…at your expense…the few who are there to do service for you and their country are far few and in between…and often are targeted or suppressed from doing the will of the people.  Don’t be fooled by rhetoric…Remember Donald Trump and his Republican constituents…Masters of the game in leading sheep to slaughter…and how willingly and wantonly his sheep supporters follow and drink the Kool-Aid…without question or pause…such a frightening realization…

Remember how people came together to support and help one another in their darkest of hours…How we are at our best…when things around us are at their worst…

Remember how the coronavirus gave us insight into ourselves…while forcing us into isolation…to save ourselves…

Remember that the only resolution you need to bring into 2021 from this New Year’s Eve…is to live a good life…Remembering that your good life is connected to your humanity…and every individual who crosses your path…on your journey through life…

End 2020 by becoming a better version of yourself…by remembering all of the adversity you overcame in this passing year…

It is a threshold of entry…a lighthouse without its beam…

Until the spark of the spirit is released within…

The spark of Divinity…released by God…

The two most prized gifts this Christmas Day are…the gift of Love…and the gift of Life…

The Universe has given humanity the task of extending life through love…by understanding and utilizing the meaning of “unconditional.”

The true meaning of Christmas which began to shift in the mid-19th century is “To give up one’s very self—to think of others…how to bring the greatest happiness to others.”

This Christmas we were tasked with choosing to adhere to the standing protocol involving social distancing and mask wearing to curb and slow down the spread of a raging plague classified as Covid-19, which came into being near the beginning of the year.  Many ignored protocol…and the virus gathered uncontrollable momentum and has now mutated to a strain that is faster in its ability to infect, increasing its reach into groups, such as people under the age of 30 and young children, nearly tripling its rate of mortality overall.

We have the ability to give life…by caring about the lives of others…by practicing social precautions known to arrest the spread of this deadly disease.  That includes traveling…

Can we care about others more than we care about ourselves?  The sacrifice that brought forth Christmas Day was the birth of a savior…who would one day sacrifice his life…to save humanity from the ravages of sin…whereby granting everlasting life by giving up his own self…by thinking of others.

The excuses made to ignore the simplest of short-term remedies in order to get back to normalcy are weak and selfish and without regard to others and their right to life.

There will be mothers and fathers…grandmothers and grandfathers…sisters and brothers…children and grandchildren…aunts and uncles…cousins and friends…who will lose their lives, because someone and many… felt they could ignore protocols, and live life as if it were normal…in the Age of Covid-19.

So many asymptomatic individuals are passing the virus onto others… Think of the thousands who could be spared and saved from this avenue of transmission if everyone wore a mask?

If doctors and nurses and other healthcare personnel, who are willing to put your life first…before their lives… and many have given up their lives in treating and caring for those stricken with this horrific disease…can’t we also love life enough to give the gift of life to another?

Out of love, we can give the gift of life through love…we can give the gift of life through helping those who are less fortunate in making it through this devastating trial of life altering circumstances…we must remember that any one of us can be touched by the tragedy of the Coronavirus…any one of us can be touched by the threat of eviction…any one of us has and can lose our livelihoods…but in the midst of it all…we must remember our humanity.  We have…and always will be…our brother and sister’s keeper…no matter what race…culture…creed…or any form of diversity…our purpose is to realize the connectivity we share with every living creature…the breath of life does not discriminate…it is the life of life… Un-conditionality must bring us to this realization…Love…must bring us to this realization….

This Christmas Day…out of darkness…light can come forth…through each and every one of us…The power of humanity’s longevity…is in your hands…and mine.

No act is too small…given out of love…it becomes a great miracle to one in need…

You are the first day of someone’s life…

Practice social distancing…

Wear a mask…

Please restrict your travel for just a little longer…

Donate a can of food to your local food bank…

Give a dollar or two to a charity that you know will help someone who has lost their home…or will help them save it.

You are chosen to save a life…by giving life…

Your importance isn’t measured by what you have or how much you can give…

You are important because you are the continuity of life…through your gift of love…through your gift of sharing the breath of life…

You are the giver of Christmas miracles…

The importance of Christmas…is you.

This Christmas Day, the two most prized gifts are the gift of Love…and the gift of Life…and you possess them both…

You have the free-will to exercise the giving…

Will you?

The Universe is watching….

Godspeed you the courage to honor your gifts…

What Just Happened?!

Did Scrooge just flip the script?! Perhaps the Spirit of Christmas isn’t lost on The Hill after all…

Christmas miracles can come from the least likely of places…like Trump!

Trump came out against the coronavirus stimulus bill calling it a “disgrace.”

Can I say this without being pelted? He finally got one right as he’s walking out the door…

Trump called for a raise in the stimulus payment from $600 to $2000.

For once…he got it right. He also said,”It’s called a Covid relief bill, but it has almost nothing to do with Covid.” Right again.

He went on to say, “Congress found plenty of money for foreign countries, lobbyists and special interests while sending the bare minimum to the American people.”

Our country has pledged to help foreign countries with aid as we have done in the past, and should continue to do…

Our politicians pledged and took oaths to serve and protect America and the Constitution…that includes aid to our citizens in need…not “hand me downs in hand outs.”

What greater need has presented itself to be duly addressed than the current and still raging pandemic?

What Trump left out is Mitch McConnell and others in the GOP have been stonewalling efforts of pandemic relief for the last several months, as well as other pertinent issues involving the livelihoods of the American people…for the last four years!

After the passing of the bill, Mitch McConnell said, “Help is on the way.” Grinch McConnell…never one to mince words, considers “bread crumbs,” “help.”

“I am asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2000,” Trump added.

Was it the ghost of Christmas Past, Present or Future who solicited this change of heart? Or just another “Trump Twist” in the scheme of things?

Well…this unusual “parting gift” is a gem…a real Christmas “Miracle” should the amendment be made and passed come Thursday…Christmas Eve….

Perhaps the Saturn-Jupiter Conjunct has brought about the miracle of the Christmas Star in stark 2020…a sign from the heavens that “change is in the making.”

Change always enters by the most unlikeliest avenue…

Maybe it can tweak Trump’s mind and heart just long enough to give him the grim realization that the election was not rigged, fraudulent or stolen…and that he really did lose being reelected, by the will and the vote of the people…

I guess we can’t stretch the magic of one Christmas miracle…the American people need the miracle of a $2000 stimulus check…over a mind bent on altering reality.

What just happened?!
