Easter Sunday…New Life…Can We Rise As Well?

Easter Sunday marks the Resurrection…and everlasting life…

New life…Can we rise as well?

We have been given another opportunity to embrace life and living by understanding that we create who we are and what we become. We choose life by connecting with humanity in service and love…We must step away from selfishness and the art of creating sins with the belief that they are inconsequential and limited to the maker…

The gift of salvation is not to be mocked…

When we really understand what has been done on humanity’s behalf by the sacrifice of the Lamb, Jesus…We will gain the gifts…the gifts he possessed…and said that we as well can and will do greater works than he…He and the Almighty believed in humanity more than humanity believes in and of itself…

Communion with one another is our salvation…

We have been entrusted with the role of Good Shepherd…

We have been given the chance to rise and become risen in understanding and passing on the real meaning of Love and its transformational energy…and becoming a practicing witness of the resulting, life- changing miracles.

Humanity depends on its understanding of the meaning of Easter.

No matter how you choose to express your spirituality…or not. It will not change your connectivity to humanity…or how you affect others by the way you choose to live your life. Your actions or non-actions…affect the growth or regression of life everywhere on the planet in all it’s forms.

What we can control of what happens between us on this planet…we have created…the Good…The Bad…The Ugly…and the Horrific…

We can change…

We can rise…

We can accept the Gift…

We can unify our planet…after all…Division is a “people” creation…promoted daily.

Easter Sunday…

New Life…

New Beginnings…

Can we rise as well?

These Easter Sundays are not limitless…

Soon…choices will no longer be an option…

We can rise…

We must believe.

Happy Easter…..

Resurrection From Social Distancing And Isolation…

Resurrecting From Social Inactivity And Isolation…

Two months ago, I was contacted as a vendor to take part in a bi-annual outdoor festival sponsored by a local business to support kitten adoptions…

Since the pandemic, I have become the consummate social distance expert and masked crusader… I reluctantly moved forward and agreed to purchase a space with the hopes of the pandemic being under control to the point of life outside being a normal venture again…

As the dates of the weekend festival neared, I grew more apprehensive of becoming a part of the “unmasked” crowd…especially since I was still wavering on obtaining a clear cut mindset on “to vaccinate or not to vaccinate,” a question of decision that still haunts me and surfaced in a dream a few nights ago.

The day before the festival, I went to the location to pick up my space assignment.  Carefully masking up before emerging from my vehicle, I noticed the organizer standing a few feet away with a clipboard in hand…maskless! Once outside, I also noticed she was less than six feet away from another participant near her tent.  I took a quick look around and saw other participants setting up their tents and tables… without masks.  Then, I realized I was the only person wearing a mask…

The statewide mask mandate in our state expired on April 16, 2021. Private businesses, cities, towns and organizations could continue to keep their mask mandates should they choose to do so.  The city in which I live still requires the mask mandate.  The city where the festival was being held, lifted their mask mandate. Looking around me, I felt a wave of fear.

The maskless face and cheery attitude of the event organizer did little to ease my “deer in headlights” feeling…

She proceeded to give me my space number and participant instructions and led me down the stairs to my place in the lot.  As she was explaining the tent setup my eyes continued to dart around to various maskless individuals setting up with ease… When she concluded, I said goodbye and headed to my vehicle, anxious to leave this scene behind.

My anxiety to attend or not to attend grew through the night and culminated in a morning call to the organizer.  I wanted to let her know that I would not be participating in the weekend event.  Her husband answered and was quite understanding of my anxiety and offered up jokes to help ease the situation.  I felt relieved…

Social distancing and mask wearing…hand washing and sanitizing had become my new normal.  While I always hand washed and sanitized at the appropriate moments before the coronavirus, the frequency and the demand for it due to the pandemic had easily become second nature and an expectancy pertaining to all who entered my proximity, and my ritual of respect when I entered into someone else’s space and proximity…especially when going out to do necessary errands which intersected with others.  My responsibility of preserving my life also extends to preserving and protecting the lives of others during this pandemic.

With the easing of restrictions due to the drop in Covid-19 cases and vaccine attainment, resurrecting from social distancing and social inactivity will be the new hurdle to overcome.

Until the pandemic is declared officially under control and cases drop below 100, we are not out of the woods.  A new surge or new variant strains can come in and upset the apple cart at any given moment…and lifting protocol because of those who are anxious to live life as it was before Covid because of promising results with the vaccine and prior social distancing practices…may be a few months premature…Time will definitely tell the complete tale.

Fear is the great inhibitor and it rears its ugly head in some capacity in our lives, every second of every day…new challenges of fear creep in…affecting even those who consider themselves fearless and invincible…they are just experts at “masking it.”

Sometimes, fear isn’t fear…but intuition or instinct…either way, we must pay heed.

I am looking forward to the day when I can relinquish my mask to retirement and feel the air upon my face again…and I will… in my space and timetable…not someone else’s…

My resurrection back into social interaction will be my great celebration, fit with all the bells and whistles of announcement allowable.

Kisses, anyone?

Soon…just not today.

Readjusting ourselves to a “new normal,” a new approach to living after a dramatic series of events is also a “healing process.”

Healing is the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again.

That includes a healthy and sound state of mind.

This pandemic has shaken and unsettled confidences, belief systems, taken lives, broken families and forced tactile humanity into isolation and restrictive lifestyles for over a year…and is still erupting to that cause and effect; with some parts of the globe, again, reentering lock down…So much so, that when the appearance of “normalcy” emerges, there are those among us who cling to the enforced, tried and true measures of securing our health and safety; that has brought us to this place of still preserving our gift of life…I know firsthand.  It is called “self-preservation.”

To those who are hesitant and unsure…take your time.  Embrace your method of healing and resurrection into life out of isolation and social distancing in a healthy and safe manner.

Let go of fear…and let go of any paranoia.  Do not let it creep in or set in.  Hesitancy after a long illness is…normal.  Hesitancy after prolonged isolation…is normal. Hesitancy in being unsure…is normal.

Trust your instincts and move out into the mainstream when your spirit signals you that it is safe…and in your best interest to do so.

You are not alone…

Godspeed…God protects.

Be still…and listen to your heart.

You will rise again….

HE IS RISEN…It’s a Brand New Day…For Humanity…

Easter Sunday is a testament to humanity…A reminder that your ticket to Heaven has been bought and paid for…through the Blood of Jesus…

Easter Sunday is the greatest testament to Love that will ever come to be…

We just need to go within…to recognize the sacrifice given…for the Love of Humanity.

Yesterday morning…I awoke to words in my heart…in gracious thanks and testament to my spiritual understanding of this great and powerful love that was given for us…and to us…Yet, we exercise such limited understanding of its meaning…and power.

There is a tremendous healing and restorative power in love…like a mustard seed…just a little love goes a long way.

Easter isn’t about dyeing eggs…luscious baskets filled with candy and little trinkets…parading around in “Easter best” or bonnets…

The meaning of Easter is the miracle of Love and the Resurrection of throwing off the flesh (the material)…and recognizing the power of the Spirit (Love) and what can be accomplished in selfless and unconditional giving of this essence and most powerful… living energy.

Christ was consistent and unwavering in His acts of Love…even with those who were perceived as His enemies…

“Forgiveness” is a most significant key in understanding the power and magic of Love…

Christ came to teach us…to show us by example…the incredible and unbelievable power…of Love.

He believed that once we understood Love…we would do greater works than He…

He Is Risen….

Can we rise?

A soul must be willing to rise…

He can and did…lead us there…Can we rise?

Let your heart guide you…

Here are the words that came to me, yesterday-morn…

IN THE NAME OF JESUS

He Said…

Come sit upon my tomb

Open up your heart…make room…

This sacrifice I make

Is your choice for commitment to take…

A vow of Love…Love…Love…

Handed down from above…(a)bove…(a)bove…

So that you can be Free…Free…Free…

Throughout E-ter-ni-ty!

He laid down His life, you see…

Given up for you and me

Stand up and praise His Name…

Your life won’t be the same…

Shout it out with joy…Exclaim

Go ahead…just say His Name…

Jesus…Jesus…JESUS!

He rescued me!

He saved my soul…blessed are we!

Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

Let the truth be told…
He rescued me!!!

He took me from the dark into the Light

He showed me how to win the fight…

By knowing wrong from right…

He set me Free…Free…Free!

Throughout E-ter-ni-ty!

Laid down His life…you see

Gave it up for you and me…

Stand up and praise His Name…

Never ever gonna be the same…Same…SAME!

Shout it out with Joy…Exclaim

Shout it out…there is no shame!

Shout it out, yes! Say His Name…

Jesus…Jesus…JESUS!

He rescued me…He saved my soul you see…

He came to me…Me…ME

So I could be free…Free…FREE

Throughout E-ter-ni-ty!

Laid down His life…You see

In Salvation…

For you and me…

He came to set us free…

This joy won’t let me be…

Laid down His life…

Glo-ry!!!

Laid down His life…

Saved me…

In the Name of Jesus…

In the Name of Jesus…

In the Name of Jesus…

A-men….

We can rise…if we believe…

It isn’t about following a religion…

It’s about Believing…

The “Knowing” that lives in our hearts…tells us this is truth…even if we refuse to believe.

We are here…In The Name of Love…

Christ gave up His life…In The Name of Love…

Christ is Risen…

Resurrected…In The Name of Love…

BELIEVE…

Easter Sunday is the culmination of events…resulting in the Greatest Love of All…

Yes…HE HAS RISEN…

And paved a Way…for us to follow.

Happy Easter…Happy Resurrection Day…

You are most Loved…..

Day In and Day Out… Holy Week Is Here.

Day in and day out

Year after year…

I ask myself why…

Why am I here?

This planet called Earth

Is a beautiful place…

But somehow its people

Have fallen from Grace…

They’ve totally distorted

A precious gift

Sent out from above…

The Wisdom of the Heavens

The gift of Love…

Day in and day out

Year after year…

Angels weep

To save the souls here…

Somehow it’s been forgotten

Through the passage of time…

Not to love one another

Is surely a crime…

It’s easier to be cruel…

To hate…you see…

Than to look for the love…

In you and me…

Day in and day out

Year after year…

I ask my God why…

Why am I here?

The answer comes softly…

Most certain and clear:

To restore the Love

So blocked out…by fear…

To give your heart

With compassion and cheer…

Truly learn…to turn

The other cheek…

Bring Light to the lost…

Comfort the weak…

As all life is mine…

It is also yours…

To strengthen

To nurture

To open closed doors…

If all this is done

Without thought to the deed…

You will have fulfilled

A very crucial need…

Day in and day out

Year after year…

Shine like a beacon

Let them know

I Am here…

Why…you ask…

Why are you here?

To show My Children…

I still hold them dear….

In this Holy Week…where all come together to pay reverence in their way to the meaning of Easter… Remember what it means to lay down your life…so that others may have life eternal…

Give reverence to those plagued and hounded by Racism…Prejudice…Discrimination…Hatred…

Imagine…what it would be like to be singled out because of the color of your skin…

Or have hatred visited upon you…because you are Asian…and treated with contempt…because of social ignorance and fear…

Or plagued by religious persecutions which go on all over the world in the waging of wars…and genocide…

To understand this week of Crucifixion…Sacrifice…Death…Resurrection and Life…Walk the path as each day passes…and understand what a Love as great as this really means for each and every one of us… Even if you don’t believe…look in your heart for the meaning of Love…and understand…that there is no love greater than to lay down your life for another…

Symbolically, stand up…speak out…come to the aid of…

Day in and day out…year after year…the trials and tribulations of Holy Week, are always being visited upon one individual or group of the human family…

One… who over 2000 years ago…did not think twice to stand up…speak out…and come to the aid of…ultimately giving the sacrifice of His life…for humanity’s gain.

He looked upon people as doing greater works than He…

We have only to witness those who have stepped out on faith and changed the course of human life in their selfless contributions to the betterment of humankind…

Step out of the shadow of fear…into the Light…

Day in and day out…year after year…

You may be the reason…

God holds His Children… dear….

He Has Risen…Have You?

Born again…Resurrected…He Has Risen…Have You?

So much love…faith…belief…sacrifice and patience has been unconditionally given to secure humanity’s salvation…can’t we find it within ourselves to be worthy of such an incredible gift?  Can we rise?  Can we make our better…blessed?

This great celebration of life eternal becomes all the more precious if we could only comprehend an iota of the love that manifested a Savior for humanity in the first place! An iota of love…that has the power to create…and destroy…a universe.  An iota!

Imagine being told by the Messiah that you could do greater works than He?!

Everyday you rise from your bed…you have that opportunity…to live up to your gift of salvation…and do greater works than He… Start with the realization that everything begins and ends with love…

It doesn’t take too much effort to fall “in love” with an object or a person…

For humans, it takes less effort to be “in love” with something or someone…than to actually love something or someone.

To love something or someone wholly…requires no thought in doing it…there is no rhyme or reason…no conditions or restrictions…you just love…

To be “in love” requires conditions…A smile…an attraction…a gesture…how you feel…how it makes you feel…how someone makes you feel… a piece of furniture that makes your living room pop! In love….Conditional.

Celebrate the love that put us in salvation mode…Celebrate the opportunities you have to love…unconditionally…Celebrate the greatest love of all…by loving others beyond yourself…family and friends…celebrate the gift of life in everything that you do…and say…and think…and express…humbly celebrate you…and the great capacity you have for love…to love…and to give it…

He Has Risen…and He has shown us how to Rise…Can you…will you…Rise?

Happy Easter!

Happy Resurrection Day!

Happy Salvation Day!

Now Rise….

Holy Week…A Time For Reflection…Then Resurrection…

I always find the week leading up to Easter Sunday, Holy Week,  is a week of reflection and resurrection of your spirit…A week of contemplation and giving of yourself…as Jesus gave of Himself…and ultimately, Himself… for Humanity’s Salvation…Yet in this week of reflection, we examine ourselves to find if we have been true to our inner spirits of God’s faith in us as being worthy of salvation…by giving service to others, unconditionally,  while manifesting miracles through the power of love…

Our trial as true beacons of light and love, was ushered in by a pandemic…this pandemic is going to be one of the ultimate tests of humankind’s service to one another and a testament to the power and miracle manifestations of Love…

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are always reflections of the finality and suffering of Jesus’s last acts in human form, by the reaction of the weather during those days…Thursday, it rained all day…Friday began cloudy…the sun broke through momentarily…and then there was rain…and darkness.  The heavens remember  the past…representing these days, every year that I can remember, with darkness and rain…Sorrow and tears from above…to cleanse and open our hearts to the real reason of our existence…Love….

Tomorrow will be the day of the Great Resurrection…He rose again to save our souls…so we could save others…Practice Connectivity…Teach Brotherhood…Give Peace….Manifest Miracles Through Love…Become the Power…Become Love…We are and always will be Love…Tapped or untapped…it is who we are…and we will be tested…time and time again…until we face that realization…

No matter how many eons pass…or how many resurrections we find before us…We will always be given a reminder…This pandemic will pass…but not our capacity to Love…it must stay with us and we must cultivate it daily…hourly…moment by moment…without giving thought to the deeds or the giving…lest we do…we will be given a test even greater…to which there may be no return to give thanks…

There are only hours left to reflect before we resurrect…become one with He who gave His life…so we could live…

I will leave you with that reflection…..

a day
