Juneteenth commemorates freedom under the terms of the Emancipation Proclamation of 1862…the holiday was first celebrated in Texas on June 19th, 1865.

Freedom is not a man made commodity…it is a human right. Looking back into the past of American history is heartbreaking to imagine how such “intellectual minds” embraced such cruelties toward others who did not look like them…Indigenous people to America…Africans brought against their will from their continent and enslaved…Chinese and Japanese immigrants coming to America from 1785 well into the 1800’s…all members of the Human Race…as are those who made them captives (immigrants themselves) and tried to wipe them all out to extinction…some…they did manage to accomplish their extinction from the planet…

God created a world of color and diversity through evolution…

Choosing to play God by enforcing inflated ideologies that suppress and deprive life that is a part of a higher plan, has set in motion interventions that cannot be halted…especially since those who continue to go against the grain of progress and change…have abandoned the truth…the light…and the way…only to promote hatred and division…

When holidays are created out of granting standard human rights…what does that say about humanity?

One would think that such intelligent life that dwells on the planet Earth…would understand the meaning of life…connectivity…and the planet…and how these elements work together to sustain life…not destroy it.

Change is only slow when those steeped in self-centered, self-gain, and selfish motivations have no intention of allowing change and progress to deviate their “gravy train” of benefits and financial gains to serve and improve the quality of life of the constituents…they deceive…and carefully maintain the planet that ensures life…so callously taken for granted…

Where would human life be…if those humans who understand how life works…and valued life enough to bring about commemorative dates to remind us, didn’t?

Where would humanity be on the scale of change and progress?

Where would our planet be?

Is it too late for damage control?

Can we learn from the Past to advance into the future?

157 years is a grain of sand toward progress on the scale of human evolution…

The view of “intelligent life” doesn’t move much on that scale either…look at those elected who continue to restrict change and progress…

Freedom…

Believing it…is the first step in claiming it…

Freedom is not a man made commodity…

Freedom has always been a human right…

We are all children of God…

Children of the Universe…

We all have a right to be here…

Let Juneteenth be a reminder to humanity…

When one is enslaved…all are enslaved…

When we understand…connectivity…

When we understand freedom…

When freedom is no longer denied…

People and a Planet…will be free….
