The truth is that income taxes were created in 1861 to support the Civil War costs…After the Civil War, Congress repealed the income tax in 1872. How tempting is it to have money at the government’s disposal by maintaining a steady stream of income from America’s citizens? While others keep their own…tax-free? So many times politicians choose and have chosen… not to come to the aid of the country’s citizens…Student loans will not cost the American people a dime…because citizen income taxes have paid many times over for student loans…and other expenses that float the country…and that is why politicians seek to keep everyone in a charismatic haze when re-election rolls around…all the stops are pulled out to continue riding the gravy train.
