Welcome…Black History Month! While February has many events taking place within the month, the entire month is focused on Black History. What will not be taking place in schools across the nation on a regular basis, will be crammed into a month of significant and fascinating events and accomplishments and historical and challenging remembrances of the African American ancestors’ lives and times in America…including the building of America by the enslavement of Africans in America…Land of the Free.
There can be no denying the rich and poignant history of ancestors from African nations…or Americans of African heritage… Educate yourselves…understand the importance of diversity…
